My final major project was about graphic digital communication triggered from interaction with analog sensors. The outcome was video documentation of a series of rapid prototypes made with sensors, a micro controller, XML socket server and Adobe Flash. This work stands as a backdrop for my interest in physical interaction and IoT.
I learned my foundation for interaction design beyond the average screens and found great opportunities in physical interactive installations, for capturing and/or visualizing data.
One of the final year projects was responding to briefs from the D&AD Global Student Awards. I was awarded first prize Yellow Pencil in the digital design category for my GPS data drawing project “Graphic Pathway System”.
